We are OPEN to serve you!
The health of our patients, staff and doctors remains our top priority. Below are some of the changes we are making to ensure the safety of everyone involved with Lititz Eye Care.
** AN APPOINTMENT IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL OPTICAL VISITS **
This includes selecting new frames/lenses, picking up orders,
frame adjustments, glasses repairs and purchasing accessories.
Please call our optical at 717-626-3937 to schedule your appointment.
In attempt to comply with social distancing, we will limit the number of patients in our optical to two at a time.
If you do not have an appointment, you may be asked to wait for those who do.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!
What we ask of you when you visit:
1. If you are sick or showing signs of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or if you believe you
have been in contact with someone who may have been exposed, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We also reserve the right to reschedule any appointment if we suspect you may be sick.
2. Anyone entering the office must wear a mask which covers your nose and mouth at all times while in
3. Please come to your appointment alone or with a single caregiver/guardian if needed. We will be
adhering to social distancing guidelines within our office.
4. Please do not wear gloves from outside while in the office.
5. For all new patients, or those who have not been seen within the last 3 years, please print and
complete the appropriate paper work from our Forms page and bring them with you to your exam. This will help limit high touch points at our front desk.
What we are doing to ensure your safety:
We will be operating with a modified exam schedule to limit the number of patients in the office at one time to maintain social distancing.
Personal Protective Equipment
All doctors and staff will use protective equipment to ensure patient and staff safety. We have outfitted our exam rooms, public areas and optical with various barriers to keep everyone safe.
All staff members will have their temperature screened prior to starting work. Each person entering the building will also be screened with a non-contact thermometer. Any person found to have a temperature >100.4 degrees will be asked to leave immediately and will be rescheduled.
Cleaning Equipment and Surfaces
All equipment and surfaces will be cleaned after every patient interaction. High touch areas will be disinfected frequently during the day.
Hand sanitizer and soap is available throughout the office. Everyone will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering
All frame selections will be accomplished with the aid of our expert opticians. After each frame is handled, it should returned to the optician where it will be placed in a tray and then cleaned and sanitized it before it may be replaced on the frame board.
The waiting room has been rearranged to enable social distancing. In an effort to limit people in the waiting room, we request that you to come to your appointment by yourself unless you require assistance or are accompanying a minor. If possible, we will take you directly to an exam room upon check-in.
We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and update our office policies to ensure the safety of our office and community. We appreciate your understanding.
