COVID-19 Information
We are OPEN to serve you!
The health of our patients, staff and doctors remains our top priority. Below are some of the changes we are making to ensure the safety of everyone involved with Lititz Eye Care.
We no longer require appointments for optical visits
However, we are limiting capacity to best maintain social distancing.
If you would like to schedule an appointment for a optical visit,
you may call us at 717-626-3937.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!
What we ask of you when you visit:
1. If you are sick or showing signs of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or if you believe you
have been in contact with someone who may have been exposed, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We also reserve the right to reschedule any appointment if we suspect you may be sick.
2. For all new patients, or those who have not been seen within the last 3 years, please print and
complete the appropriate paper work from our Forms page and bring them with you to your exam.
What we are doing to ensure your safety:
Exam Scheduling
We will be operating with a modified exam schedule to limit the number of patients in the office at one time to maintain social distancing.
Hand Hygiene
Hand sanitizer and soap is available throughout the office. Everyone will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering
the building.
Cleaning Equipment and Surfaces
All equipment and surfaces will be cleaned after every patient interaction. High touch areas will be disinfected frequently during the day.
Frame Selection
All frame selections will be accomplished with the aid of our expert opticians. After each frame is handled, it should returned to the optician where it will be placed in a tray and then cleaned and sanitized it before it may be replaced on the frame board.
Waiting Room
The waiting room has been rearranged to enable social distancing. In an effort to limit people in the waiting room, we request that you to come to your appointment by yourself unless you require assistance or are accompanying a minor. If possible, we will take you directly to an exam room upon check-in.
We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and update our office policies to ensure the safety of our office and community. We appreciate your understanding.
