Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses

Rigid Gas Permeable lenses (RGP) or "hard" lenses are used for many reasons.  They can be used to correct nearsighted, farsighted or astigmatic prescriptions.  There are several multifocal designs to help those who require reading glasses.  Typically, RGPs provide superb vision, oftentimes better than their soft contact lens counterparts!  They are made of ultra breathable plastics which often last for a year or more before needing to be replaced.
