Scott Crawshaw, OD

Dr. Scott Crawshaw received his B.S in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2005.  He earned his doctorate from the State University of New York, College of Optometry where he graduated with honors in 2009.  In his final year, he completed rotations through the Veterans Affair Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY as well as Newington, CT.  He also trained at the University Eye Center in Manhattan in their Ocular Disease, Primary Care, Pediatrics and Vision Therapy clinics.  Prior to moving to Lancaster county, Dr. Crawshaw was a member of a multi-disciplinary surgical practice in New York.

 

Dr. Crawshaw practices comprehensive eye care.  He has extensive training and experience in ocular disease management including glaucoma, ocular surface conditions and dry eye disease, and post-operative care of cataracts, glaucoma and refractive surgery.  He has broad knowledge of specialty contact lens fitting and is proficient in the use of cosmetic, rigid gas permeable, hybrid and scleral lenses.  He enjoys fitting 'difficult cases' and has been recognized by other doctors in the county for his ability to do so.

 

Dr. Crawshaw is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the Lancaster County Optometric Society.

He lives in Lititz with his wife and two children.  In his free time, he enjoys golf, the Buffalo Bills, and has completed 17 marathons and two half-Ironman triathlons.
